CH (MAJ) William Cork is Brigade Chaplain, 72d Infantry Brigade Combat Team, Texas Army National Guard, and Assistant Director of Adventist Chaplaincy Ministries, the chaplain endorsing agency of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. He has 16 years total service in the Reserve and Guard, including one deployment to Kuwait in support of OEF (2013). He has also served as Brigade Chaplain for the 36th Combat Aviation Brigade and as Battalion Chaplain for the 1-149th Attack Reconnaissance Battalion. In addition to his military experience, he has eleven years experience in college and university ministry and ten years in congregational ministry. He has taught college courses in World Religions and has over 25 years experience in ecumenical and interfaith dialogue. He is a graduate of Atlantic Union College and the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg. He and his wife, Joy, have two college-aged children.
