He serves on the advisory board of Newspring, is an officer of the Whitehall Club, a mentor in the HCC/Newspring Business Plan Competition, a graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program, and is a founder/facilitator for a CEO round table that he started in 2012. Since taking ownership of Sam’s Safety Equipment, a retailer of personal protective equipment to the oil & gas industry, Kevin has taken the company from $500,000 in sales with two employees and grown it to $2,000,000 in sales with fifteen employees, multiple locations, and new business services. While success in business has been rewarding for Kevin, it lacked something he felt with his service in the military. Kevin has worked with various charities since leaving the military including Big Brothers and Big Sisters of America, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Pine Village Civic Club, Tigers for Troops, and Newspring. Kevin joined the board of LSVA in 2012. In 2016 Kevin became the Executive Director for LSVA and began implement a plan for statewide scalability of the organization restructuring its finance, operations, and programs.

Kevin was born and raised in Houston, Texas. He currently resides in the Spring Branch area of Houston with his wife Alicia and daughter Edith.
