The Eagle Scout Veterans is a community for any and all individuals who believe in a lifetime of public service for themselves and their families. Eagle Scouts exist in too many Houston organizations to name, and the number of Eagle Scouts that also served in the military is incredible…though not surprising.
If you want to connect with other service-committed Houstonians—men and women, Eagle or not, Scout or not—we invite you to join us at our launch event.WHENMay 02, 2019 at 6pmWHEREBirdDog Saint
Connie Gray published LSVA Christian Lunch - A Discussion of Faith & Service - March in Events 2019-02-28 09:41:26 -0600
We have focused our discussions on stories of faith and service. These are meant to inspire, inform, and renew our collective faith as we hear from veterans how their faith has influenced their military service, and vice versa. This is also a great way for civilians who might not know many or any veterans to hear a message of Christian faith that they can relate to and in doing so bridge the gap between civilians and veterans.

Lone Star Veterans Association is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides military veterans with community building activities that strengthen careers and families.
According to the Department of Labor 80% of all jobs are placed through personal networks, but 60% of veterans cite a lack of personal and professional networks when they leave the military as a hurdle to their transition. Building the veteran community means creating professional and personal networks of our successful members to advance their careers, as well as those new to the community to find a career and a family to belong to.
Your support of Lone Star Veterans Association allows us to connect veterans and their families to resources, opportunities and other veterans.Donate
Our community would not be successful without the support of our families and spouses. To join as a veteran spouse or caregiver, please fill out the form below. To be confirmed, you must provide us with the name of the veteran you are joining under.Sign up
