Lauren Gore is a Co-Founder and Principal at LDR, a management, investment, and innovation advisory firm and an affiliate of Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited. In his role, among other things, he focuses on design and implementation of advanced planning and solutions with respect to strategy and operations for corporations and financial investors, both domestic and international and ranging from early-stage to multi-billion dollar valuations. He is a graduate of The United States Military Academy at West Point and Harvard Law School and previously practiced as an attorney with Baker Botts LLP where he focused on energy related deals, including large-scale transactions with publicly-traded and private companies.
Lauren served as an Infantry officer in the United States Army, twice represented the First Infantry Division in the U.S. Army Best Ranger Competition, and co-authored The Soldiers Financial Leadership Guide, a guide on financial readiness within the military community. Lauren is a staunch advocate for the veteran community and believes in the power of networks as a way to improve wellness for veterans and their families.
Lauren also serves on the executive board of Communities in Schools of Houston.
